Last night, I went to watch Lord Arthur Savile's Crime by Oscar Wilde at The Grand Theatre in Leeds staring Gary Wilmot (Mr Septimus Podgers), Lee Mead (Lord Arthur Savile), Derren Nesbitt (Herr Winckelkopf), David Ross (The Dean of Chichester) and Kate O'Mara (Lady Windermere). It was throroughly enjoyable!
It was the first time I had seen a live work by Oscar Wilde and caught a little glimpse into how Victorian Society must have reacted to his work and in particular his take on relationships and marriage!
If you should ever get the opportunity to see it, you should.
Failing that read the story for yourself.
A wonderful spectacle!!
Bravo!!
